About
Music has always played an important role in Rémi’s life. Discovering his love for the piano at a young age, Mr. Lefebvre has over 15 years of music education and experience. Ranging from solo recitals to collaborative piano work with other musicians and theatre artists, Rémi has also performed as an orchestral violinist and a saxophonist.
Mr. Lefebvre is now heavily involved in arts administration and development. As the Administrative Officer for Debut Atlantic, he is responsible for planning the logistics and itinerary for 5 concert tours a year which go to all four of the Atlantic provinces. He also takes care of the company’s social media, web development and contributes to the expansion of their educational outreach programs.
An in demand music educator himself, Rémi has approximately 20 private students and he is currently the President of the Nova Scotia Registered Music Teachers’ Association.
Mr. Lefebvre’s passion for music, music education and the arts drive him to continue to build his skill set, develop his professional relationships and give his time to help ensure the Canadian and Atlantic Canadian music scenes continue to thrive.
Rémi is also an amateur photographer and visual artist. He works almost exclusively with digital mediums and is most intrigued by architecture, vivid colours and textures. His work can be viewed at ResoundingImages.com
